This Sunday, February 18th, at 2 pm at the Lancaster Community Library, there will be a presentation on Climate Change/Global Warming in Virginia and the Northern Neck. This is part of the Lancaster Community Library’s “Sundays at Two” Series.
The speaker will be Bud Ward, a long time environmental journalist who is founder and editor of the Yale Climate Connections website – an informative and factual information news source on Climate Change. He served as Assistant Director of the U.S. Congress’s National Commission on Air Quality and an environmental analyst for National Public Radio’s “All Things Considered and “Morning Edition.” Early in his career, he was just about the only journalist in Washington DC writing about environmental issues – his experience is impressive. He has lived in White Stone since 1993 and works from his home office . He will be focusing on a broad overview of how, rather than what, to think about climate change and global warming and its projected implications for the Northern Neck and Virginia. There will be a question and answer and chat period after the presentation over coffee and cookies.
